Virtual Dance Club

This year, the dance club will be held virtually as we are not able to meet in person after school. Things will be running a bit differently as well. Every two weeks I will be uploading a video on the Gems Dance Club Youtube Channel, with dance choreography to learn. Each choreography this year will focus on different skills such as footwork, body movement, etc. to help you improve your dancing. Sometimes you will be required to send in a video of yourself dancing to show your progress, but only if you feel comfortable doing so. Joining the dance club means you will be putting in the work necessary to learn, and seeing as we cannot be with each other in person, it also means only you will know if you participate.

Volunteer Opportunities:

With all that said and done, this year the dance club will be offering volunteer hours to those who participate in virtual dance challenges we will be holding. The challenges will proceed as so; for the challenges, I will film a video explaining the steps behind the choreography I want you to learn. Participants who send in videos of themselves learning that dance to the Gems Dance Club Instagram will receive an hour of volunteer work. The videos will be made in a compilation meaning you will be put in with others, not just yourself.
